Family pack Coming later
A key for three Macs at a lower price is planned. At launch, keys are sold one Mac at a time.
The 14-day trial
- The trial includes every feature. There is nothing to sign up for.
- It starts when you finish setup and apply your first list, not when you download.
- The app shows how many days are left.
When the trial ends
Protection stays on. WebFence never switches protection off because a trial ended or a key is missing. Your list, your protected accounts and the current mode stay exactly as they are, and you can still remove sites, switch protection off, and uninstall.
What needs a license key is growing the list: adding or editing sites, re-enabling a site, importing a list, adding a protected account, or switching protection back on from Protection Off.
Your license key
After you buy, you get a license key by email. Paste it into WebFence (Settings & Diagnostics ▸ License ▸ Enter License Key…) and approve with your administrator password. The key is checked on your Mac; nothing is sent anywhere. It works for every 1.x version. If you lose it, write to us and we'll send it again.
Refunds
Because you can try everything for 14 days before paying, purchases are normally final. We do refund duplicate purchases, and whenever the consumer law of your country gives you the right to one. Details on the refunds page.
